History of 9/11 :
On September 11,2001 two planes are crashed on the twin towers of the World Trade Center.Several thousand people were injured and three miles people were dead.This situation is a blend of reality and science fiction because looks like a movie besides you can not imagine that it will happen .
Situation of firefighters:
It is difficult to imagine a more dangerous situation since the NYPD (New York Police Department) have saved many victims under debris in places in halls of smoke and dust in the towers. The horrors have left him permanently scared in mind and body because of respiratory issues linked to the attack, he was forced to retire.Many people were very scared and panic stricken.They was a lot of emotion when firefighters were evacuated the victims as they did an amazing and fabulous job.
That's why firefighters are considered heroes and were given a tribute for all these reasons.
That NYPD are able to do:
Actually,they were capable of saving people's lives moreover they could put out fire. Although they could be wounded, they were able to save many lives. They have ability to withstand fire .
Compare the firefighters with traditional superheroes:
To concluded these people are compared to superheroes because they are brave and courageous. The firefighters were congartulated for the good job they have done. They are respected and admired for their achievements . For example a group of Americans football players call to signs autographs for a firefighter. Americans can call the FDNY the Captains of America all over the US. So people have called the firefighters 'ground heroes'.For all these reasons the NYPD deserve a big tribute!
